Yak is an enthusiastic, affectionate girl. She is extremely friendly and loves everyone she meets, usually greeting them while holding her favourite squeaky toy. She spends a lot of time in the water, and is a very talented garden excavator.
She was bred by our close friends at Duoforza, Ray and Sandi. There are some lovely familial ties to our kennel found in Yak’s pedigree. We bred her paternal grandmother, Parity Dame Delta. We imported her Paternal Great Grandmother, Ch. Nostryffelns Mozzafiata Mimi from Sweden. On her mother’s side, we imported Glenstar Fly-Me-To-the-Moon from NZ.
Her show career was quite successful and she gained her Australian Champion title in August 2019.
Yak has commenced obedience at the Gun Dog Club of SA where she really enjoys meeting all of the other dogs.
Testing
Yak has been tested with MyDogDNA in Finland for all known heritable issues in the Lagotto.
