Well, what can I say about Mimi? Our beautiful matriarch who travelled all the way to Australia from Sweden back in 2011 to fulfil her destiny 🙂
Mimi came from Kristina Rense of Nostryffelns Kennel in Sweden. I will be forever grateful for Kristina’s trust, advice and friendship.
Mimi is full of energy, all of the time. She loves her people so enthusiastically and greets us with massive kisses and excited groans even if we were only away for moments. The groans are a good thing, she is a talker and expresses herself constantly through her vocalizations. I’m sure she understands english too, she is always one step ahead.
Short in body, nice tight curl, enough leg, lovely proportions.. Mimi is a beautiful example of a Lagotto. She is extremely athletic and absolutely loves retrieving from the water. I would say she is more geared to water and swimming than to digging dirt, very rarely have I ever seen her get her feet dirty on purpose. She has produced some exceptional puppies, both in temperament and looks.
Mimi’s father is Nostryffelns Federico, a truly handsome brown lagotto with fabulous curls, wonderful Italian parents, and some very promising results in the ring.
Mum is Comes Cordis Kaprice “Luna” who is a beautiful, affectionate, and compact white with brown female with some wonderful dogs behind her.
Testing
Mimi has been tested with MyDogDNA in Finland for all known heritable issues in the Lagotto.
